Georgia Gudauri 2012


Gudauri Hut has been our winter camp base since 2007. In 2011 we already celebrated our 5 year jubilee - 5 winters in a row in those corgeous Guduari white fields. Hotels have gear room with ski waxing tables, sauna, restoran and bar with best national cuisine. The host of that hotel, Gia Apakidze, is well-experienced mountain guide, skiing instructor and a chief of Gudauri lifesaving service. Ski and snowboard lessons in Gudauri capms are led by well-experienced riders from Estonia and Georgia.
 
Training levels: from beginners until proffesionals.
 
Previous experience does not matter, because well-experienced instructors are available every day:
  • they will ride with You
  • work on Your riding technique
  • teach You safe off-piste group ride 
  • introduce You various Gudauri`s ski trails
  • teach You to use avalanche gear
  • teach You to ride on untouched powdersnow: OFF-PISTE!

This timetable is made in cooperation with AirBaltic airline company. If you wish to use any other company (LOT, CZECH AIRLINES etc.), you need to to check the schedule with us, is it suitable for the camp or not.   
 
Camp price: 500 EUR
Camp price includes:
  • accomodation of 6 nights, in double rooms, including breakfast and dinner
  • bus for Tbilisi-Gudauri-Tbilisi
  • ski lessons for beginners to pro`s, according to previous experience and purpose

 

Camp price: 650 EUR
Camp price includes:
  • accomodation of 9 nights, in double rooms, including breakfast and dinner
  • bus for Tbilisi-Gudauri-Tbilisi
  • ski lessons for beginners to pro`s, according to previous experience and purpose

 

In addition You need:
  • a plane ticket from Riga to Tbilisi and back
  • extreme insurance (5.- EUR/a day)
  • lift tickets

Extras:

  • using hotel`s waxing table, waxing iron, waxes, suppliment for repairing holes (one time 10 EUR)
  • waxing and hole repairing service for skis and boards (one time 15 EUR)
  • sauna
  • ordering national program
  • excursions to Tbilisis
  • avalanche gear rental
  • heliskiing
  • snowboard lessons from beginners to pro`s

 

For freeriders
If You wish to take part in a special freeriders program with an instructor, then take Your avalanche gear with You or rent it from Seiklusring and Surfhouse in time.

Equpment you need for this camp:
  • avalache beeper
  • sonde
  • shovel
  • backbag (where You can attach Your board or skis)
  • thermal blanket
  • whistle
  • thermos 0,5 - 1 liter
  • extra gloves, warm clothes
  • helmet, ski shades
And all that needs to fit into Your backbag. 

 

You can rent ski and snowboard equipment also from Gudauri.
From Estonia You can rent avalance equipment from Seiklusring and Surfhouse and buy from MATKaSPORT.
Renting/buying skis, snowboards: Surfhouse, A&T Sport, powder.ee, rendikeskus.ee.

 

Check for best offers for plane tickets and don`t be late! The earlier You book, the better the price!

NB! Buying a plane ticket You need to make sure, that the plane shcedule fits with our camp plan.
We suggest You to order also an extra baggage ticket for special equipment in advance. After purchasing a plane ticket, please send us Your ticket booking number. We will make a collective check-in for the whole group.
